Intel® NUC is a small form factor PC with a tiny footprint. Short for Next Unit of Computing, Intel® NUC (say it like “luck” or “truck”) puts full-sized PC power in the palm of your hand.

The Intel® range of NUC Mini PC's is now one of my best-selling products, particularly alongside touchscreen monitors.  Designed and built by Intel® using their own motherboards, processors and (in the case of pre-built systems) SSD disk drives, these units put the power of a desktop system into the palm of your hand.  With latest eighth and tenth generation Intel® Core-i3, i5, i7 and now i9 processors, DDR4 memory and lightning-fast SSD disk drives, these units are capable of displaying high-quality video in up to 4K and also include WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity as standard.  For giming enthusiats or those requiring a higher level of graphics power, models with dedicated AMD Radeon video cards are also now available.

Intel® Mini-PC's are ideal for a wide range of uses such as home entertainment, gaming, digital signage and commercial applications.  Prior to supply, the very latest Intel and Microsoft software and updates are installed on each system, including motherboard updates where required.

Custom-built Intel® NUC Mini-PC Systems

For those customers with more specific requirements, I am also able to offer customised Intel® NUC Mini-PC's systems.  Taking a standard Intel® NUC Mini-PC chassis, I install memory, storage and software components myself which allows for greater flexibility.  I only use high-quality branded components by leading manufacturers such as Intel, Kingston, Seagate and Western Digital.

Two case options are available - a low-profile 'H'-model which is just 35mm high (less than an inch and a half in imperial measurements!) or a full-height 'K'-model which is just over 50mm high (or 2inches if you prefer).  Systems with a standard hard drive installed can only be fitted into a full-height case, whereas systems using SSD drives are available in low-profile and full-height case designs.

All systems are available with either Microsoft Windows® 10 Home or Microsoft Windows® 10 Professional for business users.

Why not consider the Onsite Installation service to take away the hassle of setting your new system up at home and transferring your old data to the new system?  This includes the transfer of documents and other data from your old computer onto the new system, setting up Internet connections, installing printers and a basic system tutorial.  I charge a fixed fee of £50 including VAT (excluding travel) for this service which covers up to 90 minutes of onsite time.

​

Systems ordered by 12.00pm Monday to Friday can normally be supplied within 3-5 working days (within UK mainland) subject to availability.

Warranty Terms and Conditions
All Intel NUC systems are supplied with a three year return-to-manufacturer parts and labour hardware warranty.  In the event that a warranted fault is experienced with these systems, customers should contact Rascom I.T. in the first instance and provide details of the fault/symptoms.  Initial diagnostics and fault resolution will be attempted where possible.  If I am unable to offer a solution, I will liaise with the manufacturer for the fault to be resolved.  Any goods returned within 30 days of the purchase date, and confirmed as faulty by the manufacturer, shall be replaced or refunded.  Refunds will not be offered on systems returned after thirty days nor on systems where a problem has been identified within 30 days from purchase but the customer has declined to return them to us for refund or repair.

Operating system faults/incompatibilities and/or other software products are excluded from all warranties.
